This Privacy Policy explains how The Car Wrappers handles information submitted through its configured email-signup service and contact address. The current launch setup collects email-list signups for future updates. Newsletter delivery is not yet part of this configuration.
Email-list signup
The signup invitation reads: “Join The Car Wrappers list for film, design, installation and wrap-care guides.” To join, you provide an email address and explicitly accept: “I agree to receive email updates from The Car Wrappers.”
The signup module stores your email address, a hash used to check for duplicate signups, the time of signup, the source page path, the consent wording you accepted and the collection status. The source path identifies the page where the signup occurred, without query strings or page fragments.
These records are stored in the site’s WordPress database. They remain there until an authorized administrator removes them or an erasure request is processed. Temporary anti-spam rate records use hashed network identifiers and receive periodic cleanup. Other parts of the hosting environment may maintain separate technical logs.
Contact messages
You can contact The Car Wrappers at contact@thecarwrappers.com. A message sent to this address includes the sender’s email address, the message and any attachments the sender chooses to provide. This information is used to review and handle the request.
Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in a message or attachment. If your request concerns an email-list record, include the email address used to sign up so the correct record can be identified.
Access to signup records
Authorized WordPress administrators can view, export and remove signup records. Newsletter records are also included in the WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools.
Access to these records is used to administer the list and respond to record requests. The current setup is for collecting signups for future email updates. Delivery emails, confirmation messages and unsubscribe features require separate future configuration.
Your choices
To ask whether a signup record is associated with your email address, request a copy or request removal, email contact@thecarwrappers.com and identify the address used for the signup. You may also choose not to submit the signup form or send a contact message.
